"When my husband and I were talking about getting engaged in 2004 I had some idea of what I wanted for a ring but wasn't sure where to go to find it.
I took a lot of time looking at many different jewelers. I went through the buildings down in the Jewelers District in the Downtown Crossing area in Boston. I experienced a lot of hard sells and really didn't see anything that felt right.
I came upon Helena & Arman's jewelry store, Mona Lisa. It's a quaint space and I felt comfortable immediately. Arman allowed me to look around, didn't jump immediately to find out what I wanted. We actually talked a lot before we even got to discussing rings. He showed me a number of different rings he had designed, I described what I wanted, and then he sketched a few things out. I wasn't looking for anything that was traditional and when I described what I wanted, Arman was receptive to my ideas and also provided his expertise and artistic view.
I cherish my ring. The quality of the work that was done is incredible. I constantly have people asking me where I got it, saying it is so original and beautiful.
It's honestly hard for me to pick the top three attributes that would describe Arman & Helena. They are lovely people who are so excited about the work they do. They are extremely trustworthy. Many of the other rings I looked at were more expensive and didn't even come close to what I wanted.
I've gone back to Arman & Helena for other business and I whole heartedly recommend them as a respectful, welcoming, creative, reasonable in price, and extremely trustworthy. There is no hard sell, they really respect your ideas and also clearly love what they do!"
